Baby Vihaan, son of Priyanka, was born on 6th February and is currently fighting for his life. Soon after birth, his health suddenly deteriorated, and his oxygen levels started dropping dangerously. Due to his critical condition, he had to be rushed to a private hospital where he remained admitted for 4–5 days. After multiple tests and evaluations, doctors diagnosed him with a serious congenital heart disease.
Considering the severity of his condition, Vihaan was referred to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi for advanced treatment. Doctors have informed that due to low oxygen levels, blockages are forming in his heart, and an urgent heart surgery is required to save his life. Any delay in treatment can be life-threatening.
Tomorrow is a crucial day for Vihaan, as he has an OPD appointment scheduled at the hospital. After completing all necessary evaluations, doctors are expected to decide and provide the surgery date. The family is anxiously waiting, hoping for a timely intervention that can save their child.
Vihaan’s family belongs to Behta Aira, Lakhimpur Kheri (Uttar Pradesh). His father is a farmer and the sole earning member, while his mother is a housewife. With very limited income and no external support, arranging such a huge amount is beyond their capacity. The estimated cost of the surgery is around ₹7,00,000, which is impossible for the family to afford.
The parents are going through immense emotional and financial stress as they watch their newborn struggle every single day. Doctors have strictly advised that the surgery must be done at the earliest, but lack of funds is becoming a major obstacle in saving their child.
With hope and faith, the family has approached Jan Sanjeevni Trust for support.
