Little Hamdan Husain, a bright and cheerful 3-year-old boy, was once full of energy, laughter, and curiosity. But today, his days are filled with pain, hospital visits, and endless injections. Hamdan is bravely battling a life-threatening disease — High-Risk B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Blood Cancer) — one of the most aggressive forms of cancer in children.

He is currently undergoing treatment at the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department of AIIMS Hospital, New Delhi. The treatment is extremely tough for such a small child. Hamdan endures repeated cycles of chemotherapy, countless blood tests, and long hospital stays that leave him weak and exhausted.

During the course of treatment, Hamdan’s condition has worsened several times. He has suffered from pancreatitis due to chemotherapy, severe infections (febrile neutropenia), and has been admitted to the hospital multiple times. His fragile body now depends on regular blood and platelet transfusions to survive.

The cost of his ongoing treatment — around ₹2,50,000 to ₹3,00,000 — is far beyond the reach of his parents. His father, who works hard to make ends meet, is now helpless watching his little boy suffer and unable to afford the life-saving care he needs.
