For Rakesh and Narmada, a farming couple from Telangana, the birth of their first child was supposed to be the happiest moment of their lives. Instead, it turned into a painful struggle when their baby was born prematurely at just 32 weeks and had to be immediately admitted to the NICU at Sanjeev Children Hospital, Jagtial.
Since 20th May 2026, their tiny newborn has been fighting for survival under constant medical care. Every day in the NICU brings hope for recovery, but also adds to the family's growing financial burden. Doctors have advised continued intensive treatment, with an estimated cost of ₹2.5–3 lakh.
Rakesh is a small farmer whose income depends entirely on seasonal agriculture, while Narmada is a homemaker. With an annual family income of only around ₹1.5 lakh, arranging such a large amount is impossible for them. They have already exhausted their limited resources and borrowed wherever they could.
Adding to their struggles, the family speaks only Telugu and has faced many difficulties navigating hospitals, treatment procedures, and financial arrangements far from home. After trying every possible option, they finally approached Jan Sanjeevni Trust with hope in their hearts.
Today, these first-time parents spend their days outside the NICU, praying that their baby gets a chance to live a healthy life. Your support can help cover vital NICU treatment, medicines, and medical care.
A small contribution can give this little fighter a chance to come home safely and fill his parents' lives with the happiness they have been waiting for.
