Kangana Has Waited Long Enough. Now She Deserves a Chance to Heal.

Kangana Has Waited Since She Was Two Days Old — Now She Needs Your Help

Kangana is an 11-year-old girl from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, who has been living with a serious congenital heart condition since the very beginning of her life. She was just two days old when her family first came to know about her heart problem. At that age, she was too small for the required surgery, so her family could only wait and hope that someday they would be able to get her the treatment she needed.

As Kangana grew older, her family continued to struggle financially. Her father, Vinod Hans, works as a sweeper/labourer, while her mother is a homemaker. With limited income and a younger daughter to care for, arranging the cost of a major heart surgery remained far beyond their reach.

In 2023, Kangana's condition became much worse. She suddenly fainted while standing and began experiencing severe breathing difficulties. Her family took her to AIIMS Jodhpur, where they were advised to take her to Ahmedabad for further treatment and surgery. But once again, their financial situation left them helpless, and the treatment could not move forward.

Recently, during an OPD conducted by Sarvodaya Hospital's doctors in Rajasthan, Kangana's family finally found a new ray of hope. They met Dr. Anupam Das and learned that Kangana's treatment could be done at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad. This time, her family decided not to give up and reached out to Jan Sanjeevni Trust for support.

Today, Kangana's condition is getting worse day by day. She struggles even with simple activities like walking, sitting and sleeping. She can no longer attend school, play with her younger sister or enjoy the simple joys of childhood. Most of the time, she remains exhausted and sleeps because even normal physical activity has become difficult for her.

Kangana has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia, and her medical evaluation shows severely low oxygen saturation along with other serious cardiac abnormalities. Doctors have advised TOF repair with a conduit.

Her treatment is estimated to cost ₹3,18,000, a burden her family simply cannot manage on their own.

Kangana has already waited for years. She has waited through illness, financial hardship and worsening health. Now, she needs a helping hand to finally get the treatment she has been waiting for since childhood.

Your support can help give Kangana a chance to return to school, play with her sister, sleep peacefully and experience the childhood she deserves. For Kangana, your contribution isn't just financial help — it can be a step towards giving her a healthier and more hopeful tomorrow.
