Thirteen-year-old Nishu once lived a normal, happy life—going to school, laughing with friends, and dreaming like any other child her age. Her days were full of movement, energy, and hope. But life took an unexpected and painful turn one year ago, changing everything for her and her family.
It all began with severe stomach pain, which her family initially thought was temporary. Soon after, Nishu started experiencing persistent pain in her knees. What began as discomfort slowly turned into something frightening—her legs started bending and losing their normal shape.
As her condition worsened day by day, walking became difficult, and simple activities turned painful. After multiple consultations and medical examinations, doctors finally diagnosed the underlying problem and advised immediate and long-term treatment to prevent permanent damage and disability.
Doctors have clearly stated that timely treatment is crucial for Nishu’s recovery and mobility. Without proper medical care, her condition may worsen further, affecting her ability to walk, study, and live independently. However, the treatment cost is far beyond what her family can afford.
Nishu’s father earns his livelihood by selling khasta kachori on a bicycle, moving from one street to another every day. His income is uncertain and depends entirely on daily sales. Despite working tirelessly, meeting even basic household expenses is a struggle.
For him, arranging funds for his daughter’s medical treatment feels like an impossible task. Yet, watching his child suffer in pain every day breaks his heart more than his physical exhaustion.
Despite the pain, Nishu hasn’t lost hope. She dreams of walking without pain, going back to school confidently, and living a life where illness doesn’t control her future.
Her family has reached out to Jan Sanjeevni Trust with folded hands and hopeful eyes, believing that compassion can give their daughter a second chance.
Let’s come together to help Nishu stand strong again and walk towards a healthier, happier life.
