Jiyansh's Success Story

From Struggle To Hope – Baby Jiyansh

Before

In Bhiwani, Haryana, 3-year-old Baby Jiyansh was born into a financially struggling family. His father works as a daily wage labourer in a cement factory, while his mother is a homemaker. After already suffering the heartbreaking loss of their second baby boy, the family lived with fear and hope together, praying for Jiyansh’s healthy future.

However, within just a few days of birth, Jiyansh began facing serious health problems. He struggled with breathing difficulties, weakness, disturbed sleep, and frequent illness. As he grew older, his condition worsened with repeated fever, cough, chest infections, and breathing distress.

After several hospital visits and medical evaluations, doctors confirmed that Jiyansh was suffering from a serious congenital heart defect involving VSD (hole in the heart), mild aortic regurgitation, and related complications.

Doctors warned that without timely heart surgery, his condition could become life-threatening.

The Change

Jiyansh’s treatment journey was not easy.

For years, his surgery kept getting delayed because his fragile health made surgery unsafe. Every time preparations began, he developed fever, infection, or respiratory complications, forcing doctors to postpone treatment again.

As his condition became more serious, the family brought him to Sarvodaya Hospital for advanced cardiac care. Doctors re-evaluated his case and urgently advised VSD closure surgery.

But the family faced another painful challenge — finances.

With only a labour income and mounting medical expenses, arranging treatment was nearly impossible. Holding onto hope, Jiyansh’s family approached Jan Sanjeevni Trust for support.

After reviewing the medical reports and understanding the urgency of the case, Jan Sanjeevni Trust stepped forward to help ensure that Jiyansh could finally receive the treatment he desperately needed.

After

Today, we are relieved and grateful to share that Baby Jiyansh’s heart surgery has been successfully completed.

Doctors confirmed that:

✅ The surgery was successfully performed
✅ Jiyansh responded positively during and after the procedure
✅ He has now been shifted to the HDU (High Dependency Unit) for close monitoring and post-surgery care
✅ His condition is currently stable and under medical supervision

For a family that had already faced the unbearable pain of losing one child and spent years watching Jiyansh struggle with illness, this moment brings immense relief and renewed hope.

Although his recovery journey is still continuing, this successful surgery is a life-changing milestone. The same little boy who once struggled to breathe and battled repeated infections now has a stronger chance at a healthier, brighter future.

Today, Jiyansh’s family stands hopeful once again — grateful for every prayer, every helping hand, and every act of kindness that made this life-saving treatment possible.
