In Bhiwani, Haryana, 3-year-old Baby Jiyansh was born into a financially struggling family. His father works as a daily wage labourer in a cement factory, while his mother is a homemaker. After already suffering the heartbreaking loss of their second baby boy, the family lived with fear and hope together, praying for Jiyansh’s healthy future.
However, within just a few days of birth, Jiyansh began facing serious health problems. He struggled with breathing difficulties, weakness, disturbed sleep, and frequent illness. As he grew older, his condition worsened with repeated fever, cough, chest infections, and breathing distress.
After several hospital visits and medical evaluations, doctors confirmed that Jiyansh was suffering from a serious congenital heart defect involving VSD (hole in the heart), mild aortic regurgitation, and related complications.
Doctors warned that without timely heart surgery, his condition could become life-threatening.
Jiyansh’s treatment journey was not easy.
For years, his surgery kept getting delayed because his fragile health made surgery unsafe. Every time preparations began, he developed fever, infection, or respiratory complications, forcing doctors to postpone treatment again.
As his condition became more serious, the family brought him to Sarvodaya Hospital for advanced cardiac care. Doctors re-evaluated his case and urgently advised VSD closure surgery.
