Kangana's Success Story

After Years of Waiting, Kangana Finally Gets Her Second Chance at Life

Before

Kangana was only two days old when her family first learned that something was wrong with her heart. She was too young for the treatment she needed, so her parents could only wait and hope that, one day, they would be able to get her the surgery she desperately needed.

But the years passed, and Kangana’s heart condition continued to affect her life. In 2023, her health took a serious turn when she suddenly fainted and began experiencing severe breathing difficulties. Her family tried to seek treatment, but their financial situation kept standing between Kangana and the care she needed.

By the time she reached Sarvodaya Hospital, her condition had become much more difficult. Diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia, Kangana had severely low oxygen levels and struggled with even simple activities like walking, sitting and sleeping. She had also been forced to stay away from school and the childhood she loved.

Her father, a sweeper/labourer, could never imagine arranging the ₹3.18 lakh required for her heart surgery on his own.

The Change

After years of waiting, Kangana’s family finally reached out to Jan Sanjeevni Trust for help.

With the support of compassionate donors, Kangana was able to move forward with the treatment that her family had been waiting for since she was a little baby. She was admitted to the hospital after her health condition improved, and the medical team prepared her for the much-needed heart surgery.

On September 29, 2026, Kangana underwent her planned heart surgery successfully. After the procedure, she remained under the close observation of the doctors as they monitored her recovery.

For her parents, seeing their daughter finally receive the treatment she had waited years for was an incredibly emotional moment.

After

Today, Kangana has taken an important step toward a healthier life. Her surgery has been successfully completed, bringing new hope to a family that had spent years watching their daughter struggle.

Her recovery will take time, and she will continue to need medical care and follow-up. But the biggest hurdle—the surgery she had been waiting for since childhood—has finally been crossed.

Her parents can now look ahead with hope that their daughter will gradually regain her strength, return to school, spend time with her younger sister, and enjoy the simple moments of childhood that she had been missing for so long.

Kangana waited for years for this chance. Today, because people chose to stand beside her, she finally has a new beginning.
