Nishu Success Story

Nishu's Success Story

Before

Thirteen-year-old Nishu once lived a cheerful and active life—attending school, laughing with her friends, and dreaming of a bright future. Like any child her age, she loved moving freely and enjoying simple moments of happiness.

About a year ago, her life took a painful turn. It began with severe stomach pain, which her family initially believed would pass with time. Soon after, Nishu started experiencing continuous pain in her knees. Gradually, her condition worsened—her legs began bending and losing their normal shape.

Walking became increasingly difficult, and even simple daily activities turned into a struggle. Multiple medical consultations and tests revealed that she needed immediate and long-term treatment to prevent permanent damage and disability.

Nishu’s father earns a living by selling khasta kachori on a bicycle, moving from one street to another each day. His income is uncertain and barely enough to meet daily household needs. Arranging funds for his daughter’s treatment felt impossible. Watching Nishu suffer in pain every day was heartbreaking for the family, leaving them helpless and fearful about her future.

The Change

Doctors emphasized that timely and continuous medical treatment was crucial for Nishu’s recovery and mobility. Without proper care, her condition could worsen, affecting her ability to walk, study, and live independently.

With limited resources and no means to afford long-term treatment, Nishu’s family approached Jan Sanjeevni Trust with hope and faith. Understanding the urgency of her case, the Trust stepped forward to support her medical care.

Through timely intervention and compassionate assistance, Nishu was able to begin her treatment and receive the medical attention she urgently needed. This support not only eased her physical pain but also gave her family emotional strength during one of the most difficult phases of their lives.

After

Today, Nishu is on the path toward recovery. Her pain has started reducing, and her condition is showing positive signs of improvement. With regular treatment and follow-up care, she is slowly regaining strength and confidence.

Most importantly, hope has returned to her family. Nishu now dreams of walking without pain, returning to school, and living a life where illness no longer controls her future. Her smile reflects the courage she carries despite everything she has endured.

This transformation was made possible through timely medical care and the kindness of people who came forward to support her when she needed it the most. Nishu’s journey reminds us that compassion can change lives and give children a second chance at a healthy and happy childhood.
