Little Shyam was born in Ludhiana, Punjab — a playful, cheerful child whose laughter filled his home with joy. To everyone around him, he looked like any other happy five-year-old. But behind his bright smile, his tiny heart was silently struggling.
Unbeknownst to his parents, Shyam was fighting a life-threatening congenital defect from the moment he entered this world — a condition that made even simple activities exhausting for him.
As Shyam grew older, his parents noticed his lips turning blue and his energy dropping quickly. After several medical examinations, doctors diagnosed him with Tricuspid Atresia (Type 1B) — a rare condition where a vital heart valve is completely missing.
In 2020, he underwent a major surgery (BD Glenn & Atrial Septectomy), which helped him survive — but it was never the final solution.
Today, Shyam urgently needs the Fontan Surgery, the last and most crucial step that can stabilize his heart and prevent his oxygen levels — already at a dangerous 75% — from falling further.
But the cost of ₹3,86,500 is far beyond what his parents can afford. They have already exhausted their savings while trying to keep their little boy alive.
Thanks to the kindness and support of donors, Shyam has successfully undergone his life-saving Fontan Surgery.
He is now recovering well, breathing better, and slowly regaining the energy every child deserves to have. His parents, who once feared losing him, can finally dream of a healthy and safe future for their son.
Your compassion transformed Shyam’s story — from fear to hope, from struggle to healing.
Together, we have given this brave little fighter a second chance at life and a childhood filled with possibilities.
