From the dusty lanes of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, little Rudranshi began fighting a battle much bigger than her age when she was only 6–7 months old. While other babies were learning to crawl and smile, Rudranshi was learning how to survive.
She was diagnosed with a serious congenital heart condition that required constant medicines, repeated hospital visits, and strict medical care. Her tiny heart struggled every day.
Her father, a daily wage labourer working in mining, was the only earning member of a family of five — Rudranshi, her two sisters, and her parents. Despite working under harsh conditions, his income was never enough to cover the heavy medical expenses. The family slowly exhausted all their savings just to keep Rudranshi alive.
There were days when choosing between food and medicines became a painful decision. Watching their baby suffer while knowing treatment existed but was unaffordable broke the parents emotionally and financially.
With no other option left, Rudranshi’s family approached Jan Sanjeevni Trust with deep hope and folded hands. The Trust took up her case and appealed for support from kind-hearted donors.
Because of generous contributions from supporters, Rudranshi finally received the medical help she desperately needed. Her heart surgery and treatment became possible through collective compassion.
For the first time in months, her parents felt relief instead of fear. They saw hope replacing helplessness.
Today, Rudranshi is recovering well and responding positively to treatment. Her health has improved, and her fragile heart is now stronger than before.
She is slowly returning to a normal childhood — smiling more, playing with her sisters, and enjoying moments that were once stolen by illness.
Her father no longer feels alone in his fight. He says with tears in his eyes,
“We thought we would lose our child because we had no money. But strangers became our family and saved her life.”
Rudranshi’s story is not just about medical treatment — it is about how humanity, unity, and kindness can rewrite destiny.
